Paul Kelly has over 23 years industry experience, initially as engineer for Eddisons – specialising in Yale, followed by Cannon (Nissan) Stevenson’s (Clarke) and finally Birchwood Mechanical Handling (Toyota).
Paul looks after the engineering side of the business including transport.
Andy Evans has been in the sales industry since 1989, and has worked specifically with forklift trucks since 1995. He was awarded the Toyota UK Salesperson of the Year accolade in 1998 whilst working for Birchwood Mechanical Handling.
Andy progressed to sales manager and then moved into general manager position before leaving to start Global in 2009.
Steve ran his own business from 2002 looking after many companies in the local area. From this point Steve joined forces with Paul and Andy to from Global Materials Handling in 2009.
Steve is responsible for trade sales and purchases & managing the workshop.
From 16 Tracey has been in the industry, she started at apprentice level and has worked right through to her current role as service manager. Tracey manages the hire fleet and customers own trucks on a day to day basis.
Straight from school Emma joined us in 2011 and has progressed to the role of senior service administrator.
Kieron joined Global from the start in 2009 as an engineer and moved to the sales team in 2014 covering postcodes; WN, BL, OL, M, SK.
Mike has worked in the fork truck industry since 1984 covering numerous roles including engineer, workshop supervisor and rebuilds manager. He now looks after customer service and truck care needs for our customers. Mike covers postcodes; LA, FY, PR, BB.
Jill Slobom joined in 2012 to head up and modernise the accounts department. Focusing on rationalising and streamlining costs which in turn ensures our customers benefit from having direct contact with professional people.
Maria joined Global in 2013 to assist with smooth running of the accounts department.
Kevin joined us in 2014 from a stores role within a major automotive components supplier, bringing a wealth of experience and knowledge to the business.
